A Homo Sapien with multiple interests!
Yes. That’s who I am. And a few years ago I learnt that there is even a word for it – Multipotentialite.
The very first piece of writing I did was when I was 10 years old. I participated in an on-the-spot story-writing competition at my school. In 1 hour we had to write a story using four of the nine pictures that were given. I bagged the first prize!!
That day I learnt that I may have a thing for writing and even enjoyed it.
After that, I started writing a lot. Be it a poem, story, humour, or essay and eventually I started a blog after high school. I uploaded some of my writings during school and wrote some later.
On the academic front, I finished my engineering in Computer Science. I enjoyed programming and as someone who grew up playing computer games – learnt Unity3D. So the next thing I know, I am working as a Unity developer. I have worked on technologies like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Android, Mobile games, Windows Phone etc.
But the writing didn’t stop. After engineering, I started to write tech-related articles. But being a multipotentialite, I wanted to explore other areas as well. And the next thing I know, I am a full-time freelance content writer. For the first few months, I wrote on various topics under the Sun like technology, productivity, travel, food, management, art, product promotion, mental health and whatnot!
Today, I mostly stick to technology and sometimes food (I am a foodie)!
